C. Washing and Drying



- The Glass will be washed with the glass washing machine.The machine is with 6 soft brushes for cleaning and knieves for drying.It is ok for Low-E glass and the glass thickness can be adjusted automatically.



D. Spacer and Desiccant Handling



- Spacer Bending and Assembly: An automatic spacer bending machine forms aluminum or stainless - steel spacers into the required shapes. The machine can handle different spacer profiles and lengths. Desiccant is automatically filled into the spacers through a precise dosing system to absorb moisture in the air gap.

- Spacer Placement: Robotic arms pick up the bent spacers and accurately position them between the cleaned glass sheets on a conveyor - based assembly platform.



E. Gas Filling (Optional)



- Inert Gas Injection: For insulating glass that requires enhanced thermal performance, an automated gas - filling machine is used. It injects inert gases like argon or krypton into the air gap between the glass panes. The gas flow rate and pressure are precisely controlled to achieve the desired gas concentration.



F. Sealing



- Primary Seal Application: A robotic sealant dispensing arm applies the primary sealant, typically polysulfide, along the inner edge of the spacer. The arm moves at a constant speed and pressure, ensuring an even and consistent sealant layer.

- Secondary Seal Application: After the primary seal has cured to a certain extent, another robotic arm applies the secondary sealant, such as silicone, on the outside of the primary seal. This provides additional protection and strength to the insulating glass unit.

- In - line Inspection: Throughout the production process, multiple in - line inspection stations are installed.
